About the artist
Tede, born Jacek Maciej Graniecki in Warsaw in 1976, is a Polish rapper, music producer, and entrepreneur regarded as one of the foundational figures of Polish hip-hop, active in the scene since 1994. He first came to prominence with the group Trzyha, which later evolved into Warszafski Deszcz, before also collaborating with numerous other crews over the years including Bezele, Dabl Blast, Eurobiznes, and Jama Zła.
Since 2001 Tede has pursued a solo career, and since 2003 has also performed under the alias DJ Buhh, reflecting his dual role as both an MC and producer within the Polish rap scene. In 2013 he co-founded the group Potwierdzone Info alongside Diox and Sir Mich, further cementing his reputation as a collaborative and prolific figure in Polish hip-hop culture.
His body of work, including tracks like «#hot16challenge», «Michael Kors», and «Ostatnia Noc», reflects a career spanning three decades marked by sharp, often ironic wordplay and a willingness to experiment across rap subgenres. As one of the pioneers documented in the Antologia Polskiego Rapu, Tede holds a lasting place in the history and development of Poland's hip-hop scene.
