tana, born Steven Dale Lewis II on November 14, 2006, is an American rapper, producer and audio engineer from Columbus, Georgia, who first began posting music to YouTube in 2018 while performing under the name BabySantana. He built a devoted online following through independent releases before breaking through to a wider audience in 2020, when his single «Prada» went viral on social media and helped define the melodic, internet-native strain of hip-hop associated with SoundCloud rap's second wave.

His career reached a new peak in 2021 with «Antisocial», featuring Slump6s, a moody, hook-driven track that spread widely across short-form video platforms and later spawned an official sequel, «Antisocial 2», with SSGKobe, Xhulooo and Yung Fazo. That run of momentum led to a deal with Galactic Records, a Republic Records imprint, while tana continued to release material independently through SoundCloud and YouTube.

His catalogue, including tracks like «off the leash!», «14» and «Living Lavish», is marked by hazy, bass-heavy production, autotuned melodies and blunt, diaristic lyricism typical of the underground rage and hyperpop-adjacent rap scenes.
