TACONAFIDE

TACONAFIDE is a duo formed by two of the most prominent Polish rappers of their generation, Taco Hemingway (Filip Szcześniak) and Quebonafide (Kuba Grabowski). The project came together after a period of speculation surrounding Quebonafide's return to public life, with the pair fueling anticipation on social media before confirming their collaboration.

In April 2018 they released their joint album «Soma 0,5mg», preceded by singles including «Art-B», «Tamagotchi», and «Kryptowaluty», the latter two becoming major hits that dominated Polish streaming charts. The album blended sharp, witty lyricism with slick, contemporary production drawing on hip-hop, R&B, and electronic elements, and it went on to achieve diamond certification in Poland.

TACONAFIDE's brief but highly impactful partnership captured a cultural moment in Polish rap, combining Taco Hemingway's understated, conversational flow with Quebonafide's more theatrical, genre-blending sensibility. Tracks like «Sectumsempra» and «Metallica 808» showcased the duo's playful chemistry and production ambition, cementing «Soma 0,5mg» as one of the defining Polish rap releases of its era.
