Solar (POL)

Solar, born Karol Poziemski and also known as Słoneczny Solar, is a Polish rapper celebrated for his freestyle abilities, having twice reached the final of the Wielka Bitwa Warszawska battle competition. He built his name primarily as one half of a duo with Mateusz Białas, together forming the collective that grew into SB Maffija and, eventually, the SBM Label, now home to a number of leading names in Polish rap.

Solar's rise was marked by an intensely combative approach to the scene, with high-profile beefs and a rapid stream of mixtapes that helped establish SBM as a recognizable brand within a few years. Songs such as «Nie dla Ciebie», «Brudna Prawda» and «Vladimir Putin» reflect the blunt, confrontational style that has defined much of his output, while his verse on the collaborative «#Hot16Challenge2» placed him within one of the broader moments in recent Polish rap culture.

Alongside his group work, Solar has pursued a solo career, releasing albums including klub 27 and, two years later, Pokój Zero, both expanding on the aggressive, unfiltered persona that made his name in the battle-rap and mixtape circuit.
