SoFaygo, born Andre Dontrel Burt in 1998 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a rapper and singer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He began recording as a child and pursued music seriously as a teenager, initially performing under the name Trvllinese and releasing several independent EPs between 2018 and 2019. His debut mixtape «War» arrived in 2019, helping him build a dedicated local following.

His breakthrough came through the underground SoundCloud and hip-hop scene, where tracks like «Hyakkimaru» and «Rat Runners» showcased his hazy, melodic approach to rap, blending trap production with dreamy, auto-tuned vocals. His profile rose further after connecting with Internet Money producer Taz Taylor, though he ultimately chose to remain independent rather than sign to the label. His 2020 EP «Angelic 7» expanded his reach despite early setbacks, and he later gained wider recognition through «Knock Knock», one of his most streamed songs.

SoFaygo is often associated with the rage and cloud-rap subgenres that emerged from the SoundCloud generation, characterized by atmospheric, high-energy production and emotive vocal delivery. He has collaborated with several artists from the Atlanta and internet-rap scenes, cementing his place among a new generation of rappers blending melodic trap with experimental production.
