Sido

Sido, born Paul Würdig, is a German rapper and singer who emerged from the Berlin rap scene in the early 2000s as part of the collective Die Sekte before launching a widely noted solo career. He first gained attention with a shock-rap image, often performing wearing a large skull mask, and became known for blending crude, provocative humor with darker, more personal storytelling.

Over time Sido's music evolved from confrontational street rap into a broader pop-rap sound, incorporating melodic hooks and introspective songwriting alongside his trademark directness. Tracks like 30-11-80 and Bilder im Kopf reflect this more personal, autobiographical side, addressing his upbringing and mental health, while songs such as Astronaut and Liebe show his range across collaborative pop-leaning material.
