Shofu, born Kunnu Shofu, is an American YouTuber and rapper best known for combining Pokémon and Nintendo-themed content with comedic music. He began his online career uploading Pokémon battle videos and walkthroughs before branching into original rap parodies and comedy sketches, building a channel that grew into one of the largest Pokémon-focused creator communities on YouTube, with hundreds of millions of total views.

His breakthrough as a musician came through parody tracks, most notably a Pokémon-themed reworking of Chief Keef's «I Don't Like», followed by original songs like «TM87» that blended trap and hip-hop production with dense Pokémon references aimed at longtime fans of the games. This crossover between gaming fandom and rap has become his signature, and he is one of the organizers and central figures behind the annual «Pokemon Cypher», a large collaborative rap event featuring numerous YouTubers and rappers each year, spanning entries like «Pokemon Cypher 2013», «2016», «2019» and «2024».

Beyond the Pokémon Cypher series, Shofu has extended the same collaborative cypher format to other franchises, including the «Ultimate Super Smash Bros.
