Sevn Alias

Sevn Alias, born in 1996, is a Dutch street rapper from Amsterdam West with Surinamese and Surinamese-Antillean roots, who grew up in Zeewolde, near Almere. He first gained wider attention through the group Rotterdam Airlines before launching a prolific solo run under the Urban High label, starting with the Twenty Four Sevn mixtape series released between 2015 and 2016, which quickly made him a key name in the Dutch rap scene.

His subsequent run of studio albums — including Trap Grammy, Picasso, OAKINN, RECASSO and SIRIUS — cemented his reputation as one of the most consistently productive figures in Dutch-language trap and street rap, known for dark, minimal beats, gritty delivery and a heavy trap-influenced sound blended with R&B and electronic textures. OAKINN also marked the launch of his own label, 1OAK, reflecting his push toward greater creative and business independence.

Tracks like «Gass», «Patsergedrag» and «In Amsterdam» capture his signature mix of street storytelling and hard-hitting production, and he has become a recognizable voice representing the Amsterdam rap underground on a national stage, influencing younger artists within the Dutch hip-hop and trap movement.
