SDP

SDP is a German band formed in 1999 in Berlin by Vincent Stein (known as Beatzarre) and Dag-Alexis Kopplin. The name originally stood for Stonedeafproduction, though the duo now performs simply as SDP. Rather than sticking to a single genre, they blend hip-hop, pop and rock elements into catchy, often humorous and entertainment-driven songs, which has made them a distinctive presence on the German charts for over two decades.

Their sound is characterized by playful, sing-along hooks paired with rap verses, giving their music a broad crossover appeal that reaches both hip-hop and pop-rock audiences. Songs like «Ich will nur dass du weißt», «Echte Freunde» and «Mama hat gesagt» showcase their knack for combining emotional or nostalgic themes with an upbeat, radio-friendly production style.
