Samra

Samra, born Hussein Akkouche, is a German rapper of Lebanese descent who grew up in the Lichterfelde district of Berlin. He first gained wider recognition through his association with fellow rapper Alpa Gun before signing to Bushido's label ersguterjunge in 2017, where he built his profile within the German street rap scene alongside labelmates including Capital Bra.

After leaving ersguterjunge at the start of 2019, Samra continued his career independently and through further collaborations, notably contributing his Travolta EP as a bundled release with Capital Bra's sixth solo album, CB6. His sound sits within mainstream German rap, marked by melodic hooks, Arabic and Balkan-influenced production textures and themes typical of the genre's street-rap lineage.

In 2020, Samra launched his own label, Cataleya Edition, distributed through Universal Urban, giving him greater creative and commercial control over his output. He has built a catalogue of hit singles including «Cataleya», «Wieder Lila» and «Weiss», remaining one of the notable names in the wave of German-Lebanese and Arab-German rappers who rose through Berlin's street rap scene.
