Sam Hunt

Sam Hunt is an American country singer-songwriter from Cedartown, Georgia, known for blending country storytelling with R&B and pop-leaning production, a hybrid sound that helped redefine mainstream country music in the mid-2010s. Before launching his own recording career he made his name as a Nashville songwriter, co-writing hits for other artists such as «Come Over» for Kenny Chesney and «Cop Car» for Keith Urban.

Hunt broke through with a free 2013 mixtape and the 2014 debut single «Leave the Night On», which topped the Country Airplay chart. His debut album, Montevallo, cemented his crossover appeal, spawning hits like «Take Your Time» and «Break Up in a Small Town», and showcasing his conversational, half-sung vocal delivery over drum-machine-driven, R&B-tinged production.
