Rondodasosa

Rondodasosa, the stage name of Mattia Barbieri, is an Italian rapper born on April 29, 2002 in Magenta and raised in the San Siro district of Milan. He came up alongside the SEVEN 7oo collective, to which he was closely tied early in his career, and debuted in January 2020 with the single «Free Samy», released via RM4E, a label linked to SEVEN 7oo.

That same year he delivered two key collaborations, «SLIME» with Lazza and «Louboutin» with Vale Pain, the latter reaching an international audience after its video was featured by British urban webzine GRM Daily. He followed up with his debut EP, «GIOVANE RONDO», in October 2020, then released his debut studio album, «TRENCHES BABY», in 2022 via RM4E/Warner. In 2023 he put out «MOTIVATION 4 THE STREETZ», a collaborative album with Artie 5ive and the first release on his own label, Trenches Records.

Rondodasosa's sound draws on drill and trap, marked by dark, minimal beats, a gritty street-focused delivery and an aesthetic rooted in his Milanese neighborhood. Tracks like «SLATT», «Dubai», «SHAWTY» and «DUOMO» have made him one of the defining voices of the new wave of Milan drill, and his rise reflects the growing crossover between Italian street rap and the broader European drill scene.
