Roddy Ricch, born Rodrick Wayne Moore Jr. on October 22, 1998, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Compton, California. He emerged through a series of independent mixtapes, beginning with Feed Tha Streets in 2017, before Feed Tha Streets II in 2018 delivered his breakout singles «Die Young» and «Every Season» and established his melodic, hook-driven approach to West Coast hip-hop.

Roddy's style blends sung hooks with rapid, melodic rap verses, drawing on trap production while emphasizing emotive, singable choruses that helped his music cross over to pop audiences.
