Rittz

Rittz, born Jonathan McCollum, is an American rapper from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania who built his career based out of Gwinnett County, Georgia, near Atlanta. He is known for a rapid-fire, technical flow that draws comparisons to Southern rap traditions while bringing a distinct lyrical density to the genre.

From 2012 to 2017, Rittz was signed to Tech N9ne's label Strange Music, releasing a run of albums that built his reputation as one of underground hip-hop's most skilled technical rappers. His track «Switch Lanes», featuring Mike Posner, became one of his best-known singles and helped introduce him to a wider audience.

After completing his four-album deal with Strange Music, Rittz launched his own independent label, CNT Entertainment, through which he has continued releasing music on his own terms. His catalog, including songs like «In My Zone», «Sleep At Night» and «For Real», reflects a blend of rap and country-inflected Southern influences shaped by his Georgia surroundings.
