RIN

RIN is a German rapper from Bietigheim-Bissingen with Croatian and Bosnian roots, recognized as one of the more artistically distinctive voices in German-language rap. He first gained wider attention through collaborations with Yung Hurn, notably the track «Bianco», and rose further through his affiliation with the Live from Earth label alongside his solo breakout «DONTLIKE». A collaboration with Shindy, «Hallelujah», broadened his fanbase considerably.

In 2017 RIN parted ways with Live from Earth to become an independent artist, releasing his debut studio album «EROS» the same year. He followed it with the mixtape «Planet Megatron» in 2018, his second studio album «Nimmerland» in 2019, and «Kleinstadt» in 2021, each showing a restless drive to experiment with sound and image. His catalogue includes tracks like «Dior 2001», «Bros», «Monica Bellucci», «Blackout», «UP IN SMOKE», «Keine Liebe», «Nike» and «Vintage», spanning moody, melodic rap to punchier pop-leaning cuts.

RIN stands out in German rap for pairing sharp lyricism with a strong visual and conceptual identity, and for his willingness to reinvent his sound project to project rather than repeating a formula.
