Рем Дигга (Rem Digga)

Rem Digga, born Roman Voronin on 1 February 1987 in Gukovo, Russia, is a Russian rapper and beatmaker who began his career in 2005 as a member of the group Suisaid, recording the album «Брутальная тематика» at Khamil’s Sobino studio, a producer linked to the group Kasta. Before turning to music professionally, he served in a reconnaissance unit of an airborne division.

After leaving the army, an accidental fall left him with a spinal injury that resulted in disability, but it did not stop his musical output — he has remained prolific, regularly releasing audio and video material and continuing to tour across Russia despite his health condition. His style is rooted in Russian street and battle rap, marked by direct, often confrontational lyricism.

In 2011 he took part in two prominent Russian rap battle events, InDaBattle 3 and the 9th official Hip-Hop.Ru battle. He lost in the fifth round to Bes of Da Tempo at the former, while at the latter he defeated a string of well-known names before losing the final to RE-pac. These battles helped cement his reputation within the Russian underground rap scene, and he has continued releasing music independently in the years since.
