Reckol

Reckol, born Recep Eker, is a Turkish rapper from Bursa who emerged in the late 2010s as part of the country's growing trap and drill scene. He began releasing tracks alongside fellow artist Cakal, starting with «Kanalım Yok» and quickly following up with «Trankobuskas». His breakthrough came with «Glock», a collaboration with Cakal that racked up tens of millions of streams and pushed him into the mainstream of Turkish-language rap.

Building on that momentum, Reckol released further collaborative singles with Cakal, including «Perros Blancos», which helped cement his reputation within the scene. In 2021 he released his debut album, «Özlüce Trap Boys», a nine-track project featuring songs like «Sharingan» and «İstediğim Olucak». The same year he closed out with an EP titled «Pişman» and a single called «Itachi», both again made with Cakal.

Beyond performing, Reckol is also active as a producer, having worked on beats for tracks including «Lütfen», «Perros Blancos» and «RARI». His sound draws on dark trap textures typical of contemporary Turkish rap, often marked by moody instrumentals and aggressive, melodic flows. His close and prolific partnership with Cakal remains a defining thread of his catalog.
