Real Boston Richey

Real Boston Richey, born Jalen Taheen Foster, is an American rapper from Tallahassee, Florida. He signed to Future's Freebandz label in 2021 before releasing much recorded music, and his debut single «Bullseye» arrived that November, helping him build momentum in the Florida rap scene. His delivery draws on the melodic, ad-lib-heavy trap style associated with Freebandz, paired with a gritty, street-rooted lyrical perspective shaped by his Tallahassee upbringing.

Throughout 2022 he released a run of singles including «Keep Dissing», «Everybody», and «Certified Dripper», the latter later remixed with Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo. His profile rose further with «Keep Dissing 2», featuring Chicago's Lil Durk, cementing his standing among a new generation of Southern trap artists. That August, his debut mixtape Public Housing debuted on the Billboard 200 with guest appearances from Future and Kodak Black, followed by a sequel, Public Housing, pt. 2, in early 2023.

Real Boston Richey represents part of a wave of Florida-based rappers gaining traction through Atlanta's Freebandz ecosystem, blending regional street narratives with the label's polished, hook-driven production sensibility.
