Raury

Raury is an American singer, rapper, and multi-instrumentalist from Stone Mountain, Georgia, near Atlanta, who emerged in the mid-2010s with a genre-blurring style that drew as much on folk and rock as on hip-hop. He gained attention with his 2014 mixtape Indigo Child, whose standout track «God's Whisper» combined tribal drums, gospel-tinged vocals, and socially conscious lyrics, earning comparisons to a new generation of alternative R&B and rap artists.

His 2015 debut album All We Need expanded that eclectic approach, folding in acoustic guitar, electronic textures, and rap verses within the same songs, positioning him alongside a wave of genre-fluid Atlanta artists who resisted easy categorization. Songs like «Cigarette Song» and «Devil's Whisper» highlighted his raspy, emotive singing voice as much as his rapping.
