Ramirez

Ramirez (born Ivan Ramirez, June 28, 1994) is a Mexican-Nicaraguan rapper from San Francisco, California, and a founding member of G*59 Records, the label he built alongside New Orleans rap duo $uicideBoy$. His sound blends horrorcore imagery and occult themes with aggressive, lo-fi trap production, evident in tracks like «Sarcophagus II», «The Mystical Warlock» and «Mosh Pit Killa (Baphomet)».

Before co-founding G*59, Ramirez was a member of DOOMSHOP RECORDS, a collective that also housed artists such as Freddie Dredd, Apoc Krysis and Baker. His departure from DOOMSHOP to help start G*59 reportedly created friction between the two camps that has resurfaced periodically over the years.

As a G*59 mainstay, Ramirez has remained closely tied to the label's dark, underground aesthetic, contributing to its reputation within the SoundCloud-rap and horrorcore scenes through releases like «Gold Thangs & Pinky Rangs (Da Hooptie)» and «100 Bars & Gunnin'».
