R. City

R. City, also known as Rock City, is a duo of brothers Timothy and Theron Thomas from the U.S. Virgin Islands. Before achieving recognition as performers, they built a reputation as accomplished songwriters, penning hits for major artists including Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, and Usher, which gave them deep insight into pop and R&B songcraft before stepping fully into the spotlight themselves.

After years working under different names and through various label situations, the duo broke through as R. City with the 2015 single «Locked Away» featuring Adam Levine, a melodic, hook-driven pop-R&B track that became their signature hit and introduced them to a mainstream audience. It served as the lead single from their full-length debut album, «What Dreams Are Made Of», released later that year.
