Qveen Herby

Qveen Herby is the solo alter ego of Amy Heidemann, better known as one half of the pop duo Karmin, which she formed with her husband Nick Noonan. After Karmin scored viral fame in the early 2010s with rapid-fire cover mashups and hits like «Brokenhearted» and «Acapella», the pair stepped back from the group in late 2016 so Amy could pursue a grittier, more personal sound under the Qveen Herby name.

Launched in 2017 with the single «Busta Rhymes», the project leans into brash, hook-driven rap and R&B, trading Karmin's polished pop-radio sheen for looser, self-produced tracks about confidence, motherhood, and reinvention. Nick Noonan has continued to produce much of her music behind the scenes, keeping the collaboration intact even as the public persona changed.

Qveen Herby built her catalogue through a steady stream of independently released EPs rather than a single breakout album, with songs like «Wifey», «Mint», and «Mozart» picking up traction online, including placement in Shane Dawson's popular YouTube docuseries. The project is defined less by chart hits than by its DIY, unfiltered attitude and its direct line to a dedicated online fanbase.
