Quality Control Music is an Atlanta-based record label and management company founded in 2012 by Pierre «Pee» Thomas and Kevin «Coach K» Lee. It quickly became one of the most influential imprints in modern hip-hop, shaping the sound of the 2010s trap era through its roster of Atlanta-rooted talent and its close ties to producers who defined the city's melodic, hi-hat-driven aesthetic.

The label's breakout act was Migos, whose triplet-flow delivery and ad-lib-heavy style, popularized through hits and mixtapes, became one of the most imitated templates in mainstream rap. Quality Control went on to develop and sign artists including Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, and City Girls, building a diverse stable that spanned melodic trap, bubblegum rap, and hard-edged street narratives while maintaining a distinctly Atlanta identity.

Beyond individual artist releases, the label became known for its compilation projects that brought its roster together, reinforcing a collective identity and cross-promoting its talent. Distributed through major partners, Quality Control cemented Atlanta's continued dominance in hip-hop and became a model for artist-development-focused independent labels operating within the major-label system.
