Pouya

Pouya is an American rapper from South Florida, born Kevin Pouya. He emerged from the Miami underground scene as a founding member of the Buffet Boys collective, formed with longtime collaborator Fat Nick, and built a devoted following through raw, DIY mixtapes released independently online. His style blends introspective, often dark lyricism with an energetic, sometimes chaotic delivery, drawing influence from horrorcore acts like Bones Thugs-n-Harmony while staying rooted in the SoundCloud-era underground aesthetic.

Known for his long hair and affinity for Cadillacs, which recurs as imagery across his music, Pouya's catalogue includes tracks like «1000 Rounds», «Get Buck», «Void» and «Suicidal Thoughts in the Back of the Cadillac», the latter alluding to the themes of struggle and mortality that run through much of his work alongside party-oriented, high-energy cuts. He has been a steady presence in the underground rap ecosystem since releasing his debut mixtape, Fuck It, while living with Fat Nick.

Over his career Pouya has collaborated widely across the underground and alternative rap scenes, working with artists including Ghostemane, the New Orleans duo $UICIDEBOY$, and Rich Brian, helping cement his place as one of the connective figures of the Florida underground and SoundCloud rap movements.
