About the artist
OBOY, born Mihaja Ramiarinarivo on January 6, 1997 in Madagascar, is a Paris-based rapper who built his reputation with a melodic, Afro-influenced style blending rap, pop, and R&B. A former member of the collective Way Boto, he first gained an audience through the mixtapes Olyside and Southside, released in 2016 and 2018, before breaking through fully with his debut album ΩMEGA in 2019.
ΩMEGA produced several of his best-known tracks, including «Je m'en tape», «Avec toi», «R10», and «Rien à fêter», establishing him as a rising figure in the French urban scene. He followed this success with the summer EP Mafana in 2020, which included the hit «Cabeza», and continued building momentum with singles like «Cobra», «Saloon», «Douce», «Nuit», «Cruel», and «TDB».
In September 2021, OBOY released his second album, No Crari, further cementing his status as one of the most streamed French rap artists, with millions of monthly listeners on platforms like Spotify. He returned in 2022 with «Fast Fast» and announced the founding of his own label structure, 360 Records, alongside a partnership with Hall Access, signaling his ambitions to expand beyond performing into artist development.
