Notti Osama

Notti Osama, born Ethan Reyes (2008–2022), was an American drill rapper from Yonkers, New York, part of the Bronx-Yonkers drill scene alongside his older brother DD Osama and close collaborator Ddot. He rose to prominence as one of the youngest voices in the genre, contributing to tracks like «Deadly» and «Without You» that helped define the melodic, aggressive style of the New York drill wave in the early 2020s.

His music combined the dark, minor-key production typical of Brooklyn and Bronx drill with a raw, youthful delivery that resonated with a generation of listeners drawn to the scene's street narratives. Songs such as «41K», «Blame On Me» and «What You Wanna Do?» showcased his ability to blend melody and menace, often over ominous basslines and sparse percussion.

Notti Osama died on July 9, 2022, at age 14, after a fatal altercation in a Bronx subway station. His death shocked the drill community and led to a wave of posthumous releases, including «Evil Twins Pt. 2» and «Dead Opps», which cemented his legacy within the genre and highlighted the broader conversation about violence surrounding New York's drill scene.
