Mostro, the stage name of Giorgio Ferrario, is an Italian rapper born in Rome. He began his career in the early 2010s as part of the group Ill Movement alongside Nick Sick and Yoshimitsu, before launching a solo path with the album «La Nave Fantasma» in 2014. His stage name, chosen during his teenage years as a breakdancer and later as part of his writing tag, plays on the double meaning of the Italian word mostro — both a frightening creature and a superlative of skill, an idea he has said reflects the tension between form and content in his music.

Mostro is known for a technical, wordplay-heavy style rooted in the Roman rap scene, blending aggressive flows with introspective and often dark lyrical themes.
