Montana of 300

Montana of 300 is a rapper from Chicago, Illinois, who emerged from the city's drill scene with a series of viral freestyles and remixes, most notably his «Chiraq (Remix)». Known for dense, rapid-fire multisyllabic wordplay and a willingness to rework other artists' beats into showcases of technical rap skill, he built a devoted following largely through freestyle culture before releasing original full-length projects.

His debut album, Cursed with a Blessing, arrived in 2014, followed in 2015 by Gunz N Roses, a collaborative record with fellow FGE member Talley of 300, and Fire in the Church in 2016. Rather than signing to a major label, Montana has remained independent throughout his career, running his own imprint, FGE (Fly Guys Entertainment), alongside artists including Talley of 300, $avage, J Real, and No Fatigue.

His music frequently touches on faith and personal struggle, giving tracks like «Holy Ghost» a reflective edge that contrasts with the aggression of his drill-rooted material.
