Money Boy

Money Boy, born Sebastian Meisinger, is an Austrian rapper from Vienna who became one of the most polarizing figures in German-language hip-hop. He built his early notoriety through internet-native output — viral freestyle videos and a deliberately over-the-top online persona — before crossing into mainstream success with hits like «Dreh den Swag auf» and «Choices».

His sound leans heavily on trap-influenced, Southern US-style instrumentals, layered with heavy autotune, ad-libs such as «Skrrt» and «Burr», and a freewheeling mix of German and English slang. Lyrically he leans into exaggerated bravado around wealth, drugs and luxury brands, delivered with a tongue-in-cheek, meme-savvy sensibility that made him a fixture of internet culture as much as of the rap scene itself.
