About the artist
Modo Diablo is the collective project of three of Argentina's leading trap artists — Duki, Neo Pistea and Ysy A — who came together in Buenos Aires in the mid-2010s. The name originates from underground parties the trio hosted at a house on Antezana street, dubbed «Modo Diablo», which later gave its name to Ysy A's debut album before becoming the trio's collective identity. Their breakout single «Uh!», released in early 2018, became an anthem of the burgeoning Argentine trap movement and helped push the genre into the mainstream across Latin America.
Each member brings a distinct style to the collaboration: Duki's melodic, hook-driven delivery, Neo Pistea's rapid, technically dense flow, and Ysy A's raw, introspective lyricism. Together they represent the core of the RKT and trap argentino scene that exploded out of Buenos Aires freestyle battles and cyphers, influencing a generation of Spanish-language urban artists.
Modo Diablo's tracks blend dark, minimalist trap production with the aggressive braggadocio typical of the genre, while also touching on themes of loyalty, street life and ambition. Beyond «Uh!», songs like «Quavo #Mododiablo» and «TRAP.N.EXPORT» showcase the trio's chemistry and helped cement Argentine trap as a major force in the broader Latin urban music landscape of the late 2010s.
