Miyagi

Miyagi, born Azamat Kudzayev, is a Russian rapper and singer from Vladikavkaz who took his stage name from the karate master Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kid, having previously performed as Shau. He initially trained as a surgeon before turning fully to music, and went on to found the Hajime Records label alongside longtime collaborator Sloan Burnatsev, known as Endshpil (later Andy Panda).

Miyagi became widely known through his duo work with Endshpil, blending rap with reggae and R&B influences into a distinctive, melodic sound that stood apart from mainstream Russian hip-hop. Their collaborative single «I Got Love», featuring Rem Digga, became one of the most-viewed Russian-language music videos on YouTube and helped push the duo into the mainstream.

Beyond the duo project, Miyagi has released solo material and worked with a range of other artists, establishing himself as one of the most recognizable figures in Russian-language rap of the 2010s and 2020s, known for a laid-back vocal delivery and genre-crossing production choices.
