Milo J, born Camilo Joaquín Villaruel on October 25, 2006, in Morón, in the Greater Buenos Aires area of Argentina, is one of the most prominent young voices in the new wave of Argentine urban music. He began releasing music in 2021 with «Tus Vueltas», which quickly gained traction on YouTube, and by his mid-teens he had built a large following thanks to a style that freely mixes rap, R&B, pop, and rock influences rather than sticking to a single lane.

His breakthrough came in 2022 with «Rara Vez», produced alongside Taiu, which climbed into Spotify's global charts and introduced him to a mainstream audience beyond the Argentine trap and rap scene. Attention from established artists and streamers such as Lit Killah and Coscu helped accelerate his rise. In 2023 he released his debut EP, 5 1 1, showcasing a more personal and varied sound.

Milo J is often described as a prodigy of the Buenos Aires conurbano scene, referencing his roots in Morón directly in his lyrics, including the track «1 7 0 8». His catalogue includes songs like «OJALÁ», «Niño», «OLIMPO», and «DAÑA (ELVIRA)», reflecting an artist unafraid to blend genres and experiment across an eclectic, fast-evolving discography while still in his teens.
