Mike WiLL Made-It

Mike WiLL Made-It, born Michael Len Williams II in Marietta, Georgia, is an American record producer and one of the defining architects of modern trap and hip-hop production. Encouraged early on by his uncle, a musician, he built a distinctive sound rooted in heavy 808 bass, sparse hi-hats, and dark, minimal arrangements that became a blueprint for the Atlanta trap sound of the 2010s.

He rose to prominence producing records for artists like Future, Gucci Mane, and 2 Chainz before breaking into the mainstream with massive pop and hip-hop crossovers, including Rihanna's «Pour It Up», Miley Cyrus's «We Can't Stop», and Beyoncé's «Formation». His ear-catching producer tag and ability to move fluidly between rap, pop, and R&B made him one of the most in-demand hitmakers of his generation.

Beyond his production work, Mike WiLL Made-It founded the label Ear Drummer Records and released his own collaborative albums featuring a rotating cast of artists, cementing his role as both a behind-the-scenes hitmaker and a curator of talent within the trap and hip-hop scenes.
