Matuê

Matuê, born Matheus Brasileiro Aguiar, is a Brazilian rapper born in Fortaleza and raised partly in Oakland, California, whose bicultural upbringing shaped a distinctive fusion of Brazilian rap with American trap and hip-hop influences. He emerged as one of the leading voices in Brazil's new-generation trap scene starting with his 2016 debut «RBN», known for striking, original visuals and production.

He founded and leads the independent label and creative collective 30PRAUM, positioning himself not only as a performer but as a producer and director shaping the aesthetic of Brazilian trap. His music blends melodic, autotune-laced hooks with hard-hitting trap beats, and tracks like «Vampiro», «Máquina do Tempo» and «Anos Luz» showcase his range between introspective and high-energy styles.

Matuê has become one of the most commercially and critically significant artists in the Brazilian rap movement often called trap brasileiro, influencing a generation of artists from the Northeast region and beyond, and consistently pushing the genre's sound and visual identity forward with each release.
