MATRANG

MATRANG, born Alan Khadzaragov in 1995, is a Russian-language recording artist from Vladikavkaz who emerged in the late 2010s with a genre-blending style spanning rap, R&B, and melodic pop. Signing with the Gazgolder label in 2017 — the same roster that includes Basta, Scriptonite, T-Fest, and Smoki Mo — placed him within one of the most influential hubs of contemporary Russian urban music.

His sound is defined by moody, introspective production paired with a smooth, melodic delivery that sits between singing and rapping, often exploring themes of love, longing, and personal reflection rather than straightforward street narratives.
