Mason Ramsey is an American country singer from Golconda, Illinois, who became a global sensation in 2018 after a video of him yodeling Hank Williams’ «Lovesick Blues» in a local Walmart went viral, earning him the nickname «The Walmart Yodeling Boy». Raised on a musical diet centered on classic country, he began performing Hank Williams songs as a toddler, coached by his grandmother, who also managed his rapidly growing social media presence.

The viral clip catapulted him from small-town talent shows to major stages within weeks. He performed at Coachella 2018 alongside DJ Whethan, blending his traditional yodeling style with an electronic backdrop, and soon after released his debut single «Famous», announcing a shift toward a more contemporary country-pop sound aimed at a young audience.
