Maren Morris

Maren Morris is an American country-pop singer-songwriter from Texas who has become one of the genre's most crossover-friendly voices. She spent her teenage years playing local bars and gigs before relocating to Nashville to pursue songwriting more seriously. After an independent EP built a strong streaming following, she signed to Columbia Records, and her debut album Hero broke through on the strength of the viral hit «My Church», earning multiple Hot 100 entries and Platinum certification.

Morris's sound blends traditional country storytelling with pop and R&B production choices, and she has never been shy about pushing past Nashville's stylistic boundaries. Her biggest commercial moment came with «The Middle», a collaboration with Zedd and Grey that became a massive multi-platinum pop hit and introduced her to a much wider audience.
