Malik Montana

Malik Montana, born Mosa Ghawsi in Hamburg, Germany, on March 11, 1989, is a German-Polish rapper and songwriter of Afghan descent. Raised in Germany, he moved to Warsaw at the age of fifteen with his brother and speaks Polish, German and English fluently, giving his career an unusually international backdrop for the Polish rap scene.

He began his musical activity under the Malik Montana name in 2008, initially making English-language hip hop alongside fellow Polish-German rapper Sentino. In 2015 he shifted toward Polish-language trap with the single NaNaNa, a pivot that helped establish him as one of the artists shaping the modern Polish trap sound of the mid-2010s. He has also been associated with the freak-fight organization HIGH LEAGUE, having served for a time as one of its figures.

Songs such as «Jetlag», «1szy nos», «Naaajak», «750», «Rundki» and «Jungle Boyz» reflect his glossy, hard-hitting trap style and his standing as one of the most popular and commercially successful rappers in Poland today, known for blending street-oriented lyricism with polished, internationally minded production.
