Maejor, born Brandon Michael Green in Detroit, Michigan, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer who built his early reputation writing and producing behind the scenes before stepping into the spotlight as a recording artist. Working under names including Maejor Ali and Bei Maejor before settling on Maejor, he crafted hits and album cuts for a wide range of major artists, most notably contributing to Justin Bieber's catalogue and working with figures like Trey Songz, Wiz Khalifa, Ne-Yo and Tiësto, showing a versatile ear across R&B, hip-hop and pop-dance production.

As a solo artist, Maejor first drew attention with «Trouble» featuring J. Cole in 2011, followed by «Lights Down Low» a year later.
