Madcon is a Norwegian musical duo consisting of Yosef Wolde-Mariam and Tshawe Baqwa, known internationally for blending hip-hop, pop, and dance elements into radio-friendly, hook-driven tracks. The duo achieved global recognition with their 2007 single Beggin, a reworking of the classic Four Seasons song that became a massive European chart hit and introduced them to audiences far beyond Norway, later resurfacing as a streaming-era hit for a new generation of listeners.
