LIT killah

LIT killah, born Mauro Román Monzón on October 4, 1999, in Buenos Aires Province, is an Argentine rapper, singer and freestyler. He got his start in freestyle rap battles around 2016, competing in scenes such as El Quinto Escalón and Campito Free, before releasing his debut single «Destroy» in 2017 and signing to Warner Music Argentina.

Through 2018 and 2019 he built his profile with international collaborations, and in 2020 tracks like «Se Terminó» with Kodigo and «Flexin'» with Bizarrap helped cement his place in the Argentine urban scene. In 2021 he released his debut album, «MAWZ», featuring guests such as Duki, Rusherking, Tiago PZK, María Becerra, FMK and KHEA — a lineup that reflected his standing among the leading names of Argentine trap and RKT.

His music blends rap and trap with pop and R&B melodic sensibilities, and he has continued exploring the country's regional sounds, notably teaming up with Los Palmeras and sampling Chaqueño Palavecino for «La Trampa es Ley». LIT killah remains one of the recognizable voices to emerge from the Buenos Aires freestyle scene into mainstream Latin urban music.
