Lil' Snupe

Lil' Snupe, born Addarren Ross on June 13, 1995, in Winnfield, Louisiana, was a rapper raised by a single mother in Jonesboro, Louisiana after his father was incarcerated when he was four. He built a local reputation through freestyles and mixtapes before releasing his debut tape, 16 & Runnin', in 2012, which showcased his rapid-fire delivery and sharp punchlines.

His breakthrough came when Meek Mill heard the tape and signed him to Dreamchasers within twenty minutes, positioning Snupe as one of the label's most promising young talents. He went on to release the mixtape R.N.I.C, led by the single «Melo», and became known for freestyles such as «Freestyle Part 3» and collaborations with Meek Mill, including «Lil Snupe Meek Mill Freestyle Part 2».

Snupe's career was cut short when he was shot and killed on June 20, 2013, at the age of 18. Despite his brief time in the spotlight, he remains remembered as a talented young voice from Louisiana rap whose potential was widely acknowledged by his peers and mentor.
