Lil Loaded

Lil Loaded, born Dashawn Robertson, was an American rapper from Dallas, Texas, who rose to viral fame in late 2019 when his song «6locc 6a6y» was featured in a video by YouTuber Tommy Craze. The track's ominous, minimal production and blunt delivery made it an internet sensation and established Loaded as one of the breakout names in the wave of Soundcloud- and YouTube-driven drill and trap that defined the era.

He released his debut mixtape 6locc 6a6y in December 2019, followed in 2020 by A DEMON IN 6LUE and CRIPTAPE, expanding on the dark, aggressive sound that fans associated with him on tracks like «Gang Unit», «Out My Body» and «Hard Times». His music combined grim lyrical content with catchy, hard-hitting hooks that resonated widely on streaming platforms.

Loaded's career was overshadowed by legal trouble when he turned himself in to Dallas police in November 2020 in connection with the shooting death of his friend Khalil Walker, with charges later reduced to manslaughter. He was released on bond in late 2020. On May 31, 2021, Lil Loaded died at age 20, a death his lawyer confirmed to Billboard as a suicide, cutting short a promising and rapidly rising career.
