Lil Bibby is a rapper from Chicago who emerged in the early 2010s as one of the key figures in the city's drill scene, a raw, street-focused offshoot of rap defined by dark production and blunt, first-person storytelling. He built his early reputation through a series of mixtapes, most notably Free Crack, which circulated widely online and established him as one of the more technically sharp voices to come out of Chicago drill alongside contemporaries like Lil Durk and Chief Keef.

Beyond his own catalog, Bibby's most lasting impact on the genre may be as an executive. He co-founded the label Grade A Productions, through which he signed and mentored Juice WRLD in the years before Juice WRLD's breakout success, playing a direct role in shaping one of the decade's most influential young artists before his death. Grade A also had ties to The Kid LAROI, extending Bibby's reach into a new generation of artists working outside strict drill conventions.
