Laylow

Laylow is a French rapper, producer, and music video director born in 1993 near Toulouse, who spent parts of his childhood in Tunisia and Côte d'Ivoire before settling in Paris. That itinerant upbringing, along with early exposure to American rap acts like Ja Rule and G-Unit through his older brother, shaped a worldview and aesthetic sense that would later define his artistic identity, distinct from much of the mainstream French rap scene.

He emerged from the Toulouse collective Fattoyz and the duo Laylow x Sir'Klo before building a solo career defined by cinematic, often sci-fi and internet-culture-inflected concept records. Under the alias Mr. Anderson — a nod to The Matrix — he directs or co-directs much of his own visual output, giving his projects a tightly controlled, auteur-driven identity that spans music, imagery, and narrative.

Albums and tracks like «SPÉCIAL», «R9R-LINE», and «... DE BATARD» showcase his atmospheric production, melodic flows, and willingness to blend trap, cloud rap, and futuristic textures into something distinctly his own.
