Kolja Goldstein

Kolja Goldstein, born Nicolas Thomas Sheahan on November 27, 1991, is a German-Russian rapper who currently resides in Dubai. He grew up in a Jewish family alongside several siblings, and his artistic identity has drawn on that background as well as on a sharp, provocative lyrical style that quickly set him apart in the German-language rap scene.

His breakthrough came in 2021 with singles like «TERMINAL» and «A.B.C.», which brought him wider recognition; a particularly striking line from «TERMINAL» was named best line of the year by the German hip-hop outlet Hiphop.de. He had released «TERMINAL» as his first official solo song back in October 2020, followed by the EP Art & Design, before consolidating his reputation with darker, more introspective material.

Goldstein released his debut album, GLOBAL, in April 2023, followed by a second album, INTERPOL, in 2024. In January 2025 he put out a collaborative album, EFFECTIF, together with Dú Maroc. In May 2025 he announced that his third solo album, KOUWE OUWE, would mark the end of his rap career, closing a chapter on one of the more distinctive and controversial voices to emerge in recent German rap.
