Kirk Knight

Kirk Knight is an American rapper and producer from Brooklyn, New York, and one of the founding members of the hip-hop collective Pro Era, alongside Joey Bada$$. Known for his boom-bap-influenced production as well as his own rapping, he first gained attention producing tracks for Joey Bada$$ and other Pro Era members before establishing himself as a solo artist.

His debut solo project «Late Knight Special» (2015) showcased his dual talents as both a rapper with a laid-back, introspective flow and a producer rooted in classic East Coast hip-hop textures layered with jazzy samples and heavy drums. Tracks like «I Know», «5 Minutes» and «Dead Friends» reflect the gritty, lyrical sensibility associated with the Pro Era sound.

Beyond his solo work, Kirk Knight has remained an integral part of Pro Era's collaborative releases and a respected behind-the-boards contributor within the group's broader catalogue, valued for versatility that spans both microphone and mixing board.
