Kirin J Callinan

Kirin J Callinan is an Australian musician and performer known for his flamboyant stage persona and genre-crossing sound that mixes rock, pop, country and electronic textures. He began his career in the 2000s as a guitarist for the Sydney indie rock band Mercy Arms, which was active until around 2009, before stepping out as a solo artist with a theatrical, often provocative approach to songwriting and live performance.

His debut solo album «Embracism» (2013) established him as an unpredictable vocalist willing to push against conventional pop songwriting, earning him a cult following and extensive touring.
