KING, born Arpan Kumar Chandel, is an Indian rapper, singer, songwriter and producer from New Delhi who rose to national attention through the reality competition MTV Hustle, where he finished as runner-up in its first season. That exposure helped launch a rapid ascent within India's hip-hop and pop scene, propelled by hook-driven singles that blend Hindi and Punjabi lyricism with contemporary trap and R&B production.

His breakout single «Tu Aake Dekhle» became a defining hit of the early 2020s Indian streaming boom, landing on global Spotify charts and establishing his melodic, hook-forward style as distinct from the more battle-oriented lineage of Indian rap. He followed with the EP «Khwabeeda» and continued building a catalogue built around romantic and introspective themes delivered with strong pop sensibility.
