Key Glock

Key Glock, born Markeyveus Cathey, is a rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, who rose to prominence as the protégé of the late Young Dolph, becoming a flagship artist for the independent label Paper Route Empire. His breakout came with the 2017 mixtape Glock Season, which established his gritty, punchline-heavy delivery and street-focused storytelling rooted firmly in the Memphis rap tradition.

Glock built his catalog through a steady stream of mixtapes and albums, developing a reputation for confident, high-energy flows over hard-hitting trap production. Tracks such as «Russian Cream» and «Since 6ix» showcase his ability to pair melodic hooks with aggressive verses, while his frequent collaborations with Young Dolph, including the joint project Dum and Dummer, defined much of his early sound and public image.

Following Young Dolph's death in 2021, Key Glock continued to lead Paper Route Empire, releasing further solo projects that cemented his status as one of the most consistent voices in contemporary Memphis rap, known for blending raw lyricism with radio-ready hooks.
